Thursday may the 26th and Friday the 27th the G8 comes together to discuss ‘worldly’ affairs. This year there was a call out for local actions around the world. I decided to follow the one in Amsterdam, a fools parade and conference.
The fools left from the Scheinheilig around 19:00
Bouncing and dancing they moved through the streets, on their way to the dam-square
Marching through the leidschestraat and koningsplein. at koningsplain some police horses came by and apparently one of them didn’t like clowns and was no longer under control, but nobody got hurt.
And dancing through the kalverstraat, stopping at McDonalds and other shops for ‘worship’.
After the Kalverstraat, the fools met up with the revolutionairy demonstrators on dam-square.
At then dam-square the G8 conference was started.
Ofcourse the G8 members couldn’t agree so there was a big fight.
And there where a lot of casualities.
After that the fools left and the assembly was started.
