Today, Saturday April the 16th there was an anti-nuclear-power demonstration in Amsterdam on the dam-square. Good moment to take some pictures. The crowd was diverse, but most notable was the age of most participants.

Sunday squatting day, and since the ME was bored the decided to evict. Lots of ME was present, they had 5 to 6 cans full. So we come, take a peek, shoot some photos:
On the first of October, the law against squatting in the Netherlands became effective. The squatters did what the always did, they protested.
A party in illegality.
On Friday the 1st of October the new squatting-law became in affect, and everyone residing in a squat became a criminal by law. On Saturday the 2nd of October a squat in Amsterdam named “Joe’s garage” gave a 5 year anniversary party. with the new law every visitor would be a criminal, punishable up to 1 year when they got through the door. Today was the big manifestion and action against the nuclearweapons stored at the army base near volkel.
Arround 150 people showed up, either to just quietly protest or to try to get on the base itself and ‘clean up’ the nukes. It was a wet day, which started with a lot of rain, but few people where disharted by this and the manifestion started gleefully. There where speakers like Meindert Stelling, Henk van der Keur and Mikkie Venema.
